BY ROAD ITINERARY
ASSAM & ARUNACHAL PRADESH SEASON
NOTE: FOREIGNERS VISITING ARUNACHAL PRADESH, NAGALAND, MIZORAM AND MANIPUR NEED OBTAIN RESTRICTED AREA PERMIT( RAP), INSTEAD OF INNER LINE PERMIT.IT COST USD 50/- PER HEAD CHARGED BY THE GOVT. FOREIGNERS ALSO NOT ALOWED TO VISIT PTSO AND TSONGESWAR LAKE.
ITINERARY 2: (10 DAYS 09 NIGHTS) SEASON:
## Day 01: Guwahati to
Nameri
National park (05 Hours): Upon arrival at Guwahati airport/Railway station, driven to
Nameri
National park via the Himalayan beauty, driving across beautiful rivers through the enchanting assamese villages. Night stay at Eco camp, a jungle camp resort.
## Day 02: Nameri to Dirang ( 06 hours): Enjoy a river rafting down the sparkling river Jiya Bhorolee, which form a boundary to the Nameri national park. After lunch driven to Dirang and night stay at hotel Pemaling.
## Day 03: Dirang – Twang (06 hours steer up) : Driven to Twang amidst beautiful Himalayan beauties, above clouds…Night stay at hotel Samdrupling/Buddha.
## Day 04: Full day at Twang having sight seeing in and around Twang.Visit to Twang Monastery, Craft centre,Indo China War memorial, PTSO lake,Tsongeswar lake (FOREIGNERS NOT ALLOWED HERE). Overnight at hotel Smdrupling/Budha.
## Day 05: Twang- Dirang ( 06 hrs): Driven to Dirang enroute magnificent Nuranang falls near Jang.Overnight at hotel Pemaling.
## Day 06: Dirang-Sangsua/Gatoonga Tea Estate (08 hrs): Driving down to Sangsua/Gatoonga TE near Jorhat of upper Assam and overnight at the heritage tea garden manager”s bungalow, with presentation of local folk artist performances like Bihu dance/Jhumoor etc.
## Day 07: Sangsua/Gatoonga TE- Kaziranga National park ( 02 hrs): Enjoy a tea tour in the first half and rest time is leisure. By afternoon driven to the world famous
Kaziranga
National Park, that housed one horned Rhino.Check in at hotel Bonhabi Resort/Jupuri Ghar or similar one.
## Day 08:
Kaziranga
National Park : Start out early in the morning for an elephant safari inside the national park for an hour.Back to hotel for breakfast. Afterwards enter the central jungle by jeep safari. Come back for lunch and again driven inside for jeep safari to cover the western range of the national park.The park is the home of Royal Bengal Tigers,Wild buffalows and lot many deers and other animals.Wild elephant is common sight. Night stay in the resort.
## Day 09: Kaziranga – Guwahati ( 04 hours): Driven to Guwahati after breakfast.Lunch at Guwahati.Sight seeing at Guwahati- visit to Guwahati.Visit to the Shakti temple Kamakhya, atop Nilachal hills constructed by then Pragjyotishpur king Narakasur, Shakardeva kalakshetra,
State
Museum,Navagraha temple etc.Overnight at Brahmaputra Jungle Resorton the outskirt of city adjoining Amchang Wild life Sancutary.
## Guwahati airport/Railway station Transfer: First half we have some great sight seeing at Guwahati like Xaraighat battle memorials etc and lunch. Dropping at Guwahati airport/Railway station in the afternoon at per flight/train timing.
