Anthar Gange about 65kms from Bangalore and close to Kolar town is a hill range with huge rocks and boulders scattered all over.Thorny shrubs cover the hill, while there is dense plantation forest at the base. There is a temple halfway up the climb to the hilltop. The climb up through shrubs and rocks brings you to the green patch on top and the panoramic view from the top is amazing. It’s an ideal location for light trek, rock climbing, camping and cave exploration as big and small boulders have helped to form cave like formations. It offers great cave exploration opportunities.
